Seemingly identical in appearance to the common horse, the beast has a distinct glimmer of intelligence in its eyes.

Found only on a remote island, the equine houyhnhnms are creatures of logic and reason. They live peaceful lives of law, devoid of all dishonesty. They have no concept of lying being unfamiliar even with word. Houyhnhnms are intensely logical to the point of being cold and unemotional. They do not form emotional bonds and do not feel love, jealousy, or loss. Logic is so ingrained in their nature, houyhnhnms need no codified system of laws: what it logical is right and acting illogically is unfathomable.

Houyhnhnms live in balance with nature. They are careful to maintain their numbers so as not to grow beyond the sustainability of their habitat. Each married couple is allowed one boy child and one girl child, with unneeded kids exchanged with other couples.

This savage and feral humanoid is naked save for its long hair and the filth coated over its body. Despite it’s human visage, its expression is animalistic.

Special Abilities
Hurl faeces (Ex) When provoked, yahoos are prone to hurling their droppings. This is a ranged touch attack. While their faeces deal no damage, creatures struck by the leavings have a chance of falling ill. On a critical hit, the target is blinded for 1 round and takes a -2 penalty on the saving throw against filth fever.
Filth Fever: hurl faeces—contact; save Fortitude DC 12; onset 1d3 days; frequency 1/day; effect 1d3 Dex damage and 1d3 Con damage; cure 2 consecutive saves.

Closely resembling humans, yahoos are aggressive and primitive. Yahoo are unpredictable and violent, willing to kill on a whim. Shiny objects attract yahoos and they spend much of their time digging for stones they consider pretty, frequently killing each other for particularly nice stones.

Yahoos live in regions until thet exhaust all the natural resources. Gluttonous, yahoos will eat until bursting or they run out of food. While able to digest plants, yahoos prefer to eat meat.
