Warts, boils, and blemishes cover the loose ill-fitting hide of this piteous creature. Large tears roll down its face as it weeps.

Change shape (Su) A squonk can dissolve into a puddle of tears, assuming the form of Small ooze. While in ooze form, the squonk loses its bite attacks, but gains the slam attack that deals damage as its bite attack. The squonk gains all ooze traits except mindless, retaining its intelligence.

Squonk

Deeply ashamed of their ugly appearance, squonks spend most of their time crying. They dislike being seen by other creatures and try to remain hidden. They particularly try and avoid intelligent creatures, such as humans, that do not react well to their hideousness.

Alchemists often seek out the tears of a squonk, which have a number of uses. When squonk tears are used to make potions that manipulate emotions (such as rage or crushing despair) the save DC is increased by 2.
