The Tomb of Horrors is interesting. Most dungeons begins, have a little introduction, and then have a puzzle. Sometimes the puzzle even follows several combats. But the infamous Tomb begins with a puzzle. You need to solve a minor puzzle to even get inside, and then another to get past the entryway. The puzzle is almost a yardstick: you must be *this* clever to enter the dungeon. If your group wasn’t feeling the puzzles, your adventure would end before reaching the actual Tomb, while you’re still in the Vestibule of Horrors
