RPG games have always been odd when it comes to doors. They might be locked by cryptograms, magical phrases, riddles or require multiple keys, a logic puzzle to be shuffled, an item added to the door, or some other requirement to open and reveal their secrets.

This often seems a little excessive. Some days just getting my keys out of my pants is a struggle while I juggle the dog, a toddler, and some groceries. And just remembering to take a single key is hard enough without an entire keyring, each for a different door.
