Rare Loot
Adventurers have been conditioned to spend gold and treasure pretty much on magic items and gear. New clothes and fashion is pretty much ignored, despite how a rough adventuring lifestyle should *destroy* clothing. After all, it’s not uncommon to be blasted by fire, sprayed with acid, and dropped onto spikes. At the very least, adventurers should be purchasing new pants upon every return to town.
To be fair I think this sort of thing is included in the lifestyle costs of 5e (maintaining equipment or something like that). Could be a fun thing to include when it comes to interacting with NPCs. Do they trust the obviously poor adventurer?
M players are worse than a bunch of female teenagers in a shopping mall when it comes to clothing. Especially the half-dragon. Sigh…
