Virtual Tabletop

Recently, my wife’s work schedule changed, killing my weekday game. While my home game continues to run on weekends, I lost my opportunity to play RPGs and not just GM.

So I turned to Roll20 as an alternative, a chance to actually have a character and play without the Dungeon Master stressors of story, planning, ¬†encounter building, and the like. It’s not quite the same as gaming in person, but things work well, especially for a “free” program.
